Was the ESEE Laser Strike a bust? It seems like when they came out they were the talk of the town, but I haven't heard anything about them.

Far from a bust, probably the most sought after ESEE knife right now, Knife Lady can't even keep them in stock. We just received an order of Laser Strikes this week.

Well, now I want one too.

But I just spent all of money on flashlights, body armor, and training.

    But I still want one.

I'd say I'm a little late to the party, but lets just say that instead I'm "just beginning".

ESEE Izula along side my favorite folder to date (price considered): The RAT-1! My second RAT-1 is at home, in case the first ever breaks. I know the RAT isn't an ESEE, but I love it.

Talked with Brad (who referred me to TKL, because of the Fixed blade aspect) and I'm entertaining the purchase of a Venum green ESEE-4 next paycheck, Oct. 19th. Who knows. All I know is I'll have another picture to add the week of the 20th - 27th, after I receive whatever I buy.

Sierra and Matt are 2 kids who came to the 1500 with the INGO dads and who both picked out their own ESEE IzulaII's. One orange and one gray.. These kids took the time to hold each of them and pick them out . I was very impressed with how they handled them. Really cute kids too. SO now they just have to post some pics of them with their new knives.:yesway:

I'm looking for a better way to carry my ESEE 3 on my person. I have the standard molded sheath with the boot clip and MOLLE locks. I don't have the jump-proof MOLLE back plate. I currently carry the knife in just the sheath in a easy access pocket on my EDC messenger bag. I use the boot clip to carry it in my boots when I'm riding my motorcycle. I would like a way to carry it comfortably on my person while working in the yard and etc.

    Any suggestions?

I wanted to get into more of the Randall's Adventure & Training and all, but wasn't quite to the point of spending the ESEE price (yet :P ESEE-5 will likely be in the future works... Or something beefier). I went ahead and added the older, "more original" RAT to my small family:

Did something different with my Izula yesterday. I made the paracord thicker where my palm holds it, and a single layer on the bottom. It is SUPER comfortable, and very easy to draw quickly. Also gives me 10 ft. of paracord if I ever need it.

Here's a shot of the back so you can see the thickness

If I have the MOLLE Back sheath, that is currently on an ESEE-3 can I switch out the kydex sheath from the 3 to a 4 and have an ESEE-4 fit proper? Or are the MB sheaths size specific?

    Thanks,
    R
