    Care to explain why ?

It would be different if the government used the process to track what we would call terrorists. The problem is their definition of terrorist does not agree with ours. Evangelical Christians are #1 on the DHS terrorist watch list. They saved data on millions of U.S. citizens that have no ties to terrorism. The Obama administration cannot be trusted with the power they have. They have punished their enemies and it would have continued if the scandals would not have come out in the open.

I'm all for nuking terrorists until they glow and then shooting them in the dark, but this administration is tracking us.

The brave men are finally stepping forward. I just wish they would have done it before the election so that we could have true change. This one man may go down in history as the one who changed everything and brought the constitution back. He said s not an whole like Bradley Manning either from the sound of things.

Wish that we had known that Obama was using the IRS to silence the Tea Party. No wonder the TP was not heard from then.

It isn't even that they use on US citizens, which is against the law. It is that they would use it for political purposes. Like using the IRS for political reasons.

the nice thing is how much the public is now laughing at Obama. He can not afford to become a joke. My prediction looks to be coming true, Obama will be more hated than George Bush by 2016.

This guys is in China? Now, I gotta question how smart he actually is.

Ever been there? It's kind of like NYC, but they don't regulate nearly as many behaviors. About as many CCTVs, and the police don't shoot bystanders as often.

Just hit CNN's website and this is front page news for the moment.

So American with knowledge of first tier national secrets flees to China because he afraid our govt will "86" him? What's to stop China from kidnapping him, squeezing all the intel they can from him, and then telling the world that he has simply "disappeared?"

Tinfoilers will swear we killed the guy, while the Chinese clink tea glasses.

And for the record, that's exactly what I'd expect OUR govt to do, if the situations were reversed.

Nope, never been, and I'm sure your are correct about Hong Kong. But we're not talking about a local, we're talking about a guy from a rival nation that has tons of valuable intel. Would you let a Iranian nuclear weapons specialist, that ended up in the US simply "go about their business?"

Not just HK, but China in general. Given recent revelations, Americans may actually be monitored far more than the Chinese.

I doubt he can do much mischief in China, whatever he knows. The Chinese aren't about to let him just wander around. But I'm sure they'll treat him quite nicely, if he decides to stay.
