Reported cases confirmed by blood work at the WHO.I think the reality on the ground in Africa is much worse as reported by Doctors without borders.
Well, WHO includes "suspected and probable" cases, too. Having said that, I'm not terribly worried that they're over-reporting cases. If anything, as you note, they are under-reporting.
I just focus on the reported numbers because I don't think speculation is very helpful.
