Vomiting blood is the new Atkins.

I can't wait for the new books to come out....

    Lose 50lbs in 50 days!

I watched some government loon on Fox News Sunday yesterday. He was talking about all the steps they were taking to get those who are contagious to not fly out of Liberia...completely ignoring those already infected and carrying the virus except for those who volunteer the information.

My favorite was that part of the screening process for travel out of Africa involves filling out a questionnaire:

    1. Have you recently visited a locale where ebola is occurring?
    2. Have you recently had close physical contact with a person who had ebola?
    3. Are you currently bleeding from your eyes?

I just saw the pick of them 'cleaning up' the sidewalk where apparently this guy puked his ebola out...with a steam cleaner, spraying it all over...with no protective gear. What could go wrong?

Meh, probably can't get it that way, maybe, I think, well...

it really just seems to me that there is still a lot more that is not known about this virus than 100% known. i wish the media and white house would just come out and say that in conjunction with tips to try to not contract it. i also think travel restrictions would be a no brainer from countries with infection. if you're in the affected country and want to come to usa, fine, but sit in quarantine for 10 (or whatever) day to make sure you don't have the virus before you hop on a plane and bring it here. that guy carried a sick pregnant woman to a taxi and contracted it that way. government says to trust them that they have this under control, well i really really hope they do but i still don't believe it

So when's a realistic time to lock up and stay home for a while? When it's in our state? City?

    City, IMHO.

If Indy gets an outbreak, I think it will mean that it has spread to a bunch of other cities first. Of course, I would not have predicted Dallas as the location of the initial outbreak, either.

Realistically, though, I think we'll get this one confined. I think.
