    Maybe. Most departments just need more ethics training and restructuring to enforce integrity expectations.

    I would say that handing out a criminal's reward for criminal actions would only require a few examples to get the point across.

    Have they explained why they're searching cars if they know where the guy is??

    They want to make sure he didn't carjack anyone. That is what the news lady said, not the police.

    Kinda funny, one guy's truck had a cover on it (pop up kind) and they couldn't get it open. He had to get out and show them how to do it!

    To some, but different people have different motivators. A CIVILIAN investigatory board which does not work with the police would serve better for ensuring ethical behavior across the board.

    You got me, but that is what they are doing...even checking back seats. Must be a great experience if you have a kid in a car seat and some dude points a Glock at him...

    This is laughable. If they gave a damn about the safety of the community, there would not have been innocent bystanders shot up by cops who should already be stripped of their badges.
