Comey led that investigation. The MSM is going to jump all over that. Well, they already are.

You have to admit that it's pretty bad optics to fire the head of the FBI while the FBI is investigating Trump's first choice for National Security Advisor for his connections to Russians. Especially after a subpoena was issued the same day. Doesn't mean there's any involvement by Trump. But it is bad optics. Also, the Rosenstein memo, which Trump cited as the reason Comey was fired, was dated today. Not a big deal really, but gives the appearance that Trump wanted to fire Comey and the memo just created a paper trail.

Comey couldn't get anything done. Couldn't bring clinton up on charges when transgressions were obvious. Couldn't come out and say that they cannot find any connection between the Trump election and the Russians and put an end to that. Hopefully someone will lead him to the door and outside since he probably would be unable to go through the door without his hand being held.

Drain the swamp! Last July I listened to Comey live giving his speech about why Hillary shouldn't be indicted. IANAL but my BS antenna was really twitching. Plus the buzz back then was how unhappy the FBI rank and file would be if he lets her off the hook. A bonus in this will be the libs going nuts over Trump and the Russians. CNN just had a segment with one analyst saying the Obama should have immediately FIRED Comey after his July press conference (I agree) and a SECOND analyst pointing out that just last week Comey defended and testified that he would do the exact same thing again... which was the reasoning listed in the Asst AG's letter.

Actual, real news... I'm stunned.

I'm not so sure he was in somebody's pocket, but I agree he definitely was NOT working for the good of the country. I think Comey had no overriding principles or adherence to political parties. He wanted to be the next J. Edgar Hoover, only interested in his own POWER and he achieves that by having hidden dirt on people or having things hanging over their head. He's the kinda guy that would screw with anyone at any time if it suited HIS interests.
