Current LTCH Wait

Finally... Applied June 26th (in the mail) and my Lifetime LTCH arrived today via the Ol' Reliable USPS (one of our better government expenses) Keep Patient Ozzy.40. Unfortunately I have a family obligation today, and there will no carrying today, except around the house ;( . Tomorrow, off to Atterbury for some practice...

I finished the process through L1 9/8/10. It is now 9/18/10, still no LTCH. Cant help but worry that one of the incompetent government workers screwed something up and it will never come.

It seems to me that the L1 process is slowing down, which makes me wonder how much longer people like me who didn't apply with L1 will have to wait...

I applied for my Permit, non-lifetime, in june and still haven't seen anything. When I lived in KY, it took about 5 weeks.

From a previous post, it looks like you and I applied the same day (July 2nd) and I received mine on the 15th...yours is probably on its way.

I did mine online through the ISP website, submitted fingerprints electronically. Had to pay an extra 10 bucks but had my permit in hand in 7 days.

I mailed in my form to the state on August 6. its September 17 and still no LTCH.

It will be a while. I am thinking early November for you. Of course, elections are coming up, and that always makes people paranoid, so who knows. Be patient. If you can spare $85.95, I would refile with L1. If not, keep patient.

Just got back from mailing my LTCH app. off. Now it's time for the dreaded wait.

Dad just got his last week. 1 week short of 3 months. He got slightly faster service than I did.

The interminable wait is over! Applied with Brownsburg PD on June 20th. My LTCH was issued 9/16/20 and it arrived at my office in downtown Indy yesterday.

Wife applied online and paid State and L1 fees Friday night 09/17/2010. Went to L1 office at 5555 N. Tacoma on Saturday at 11:45 for printing and background check. Went Monday 09/20/2010 to room 100 in the City County building and paid the $50.00 to the City and again finger printed electronically (this time only the index fingers and thumbs). Now we shall wait and see.

I did the exact same thing, same L1 location and everything except I went there and the city county building on the same day. 9/9/2010 today is 9/22/2010 still no LTCH.

From other posts I'm not holding my breath anymore. If they go by 12 weeks, I should have iit tomorrow. If they go by 90 days I still have another week.

LTCH finally showed up today!!

That's what I get for bad mouthing the ISP. They send me the LTCH the next day, and leave me feeling like an idiot. Big +1.

Oh, it was exactly 12 weeks. 7/1/10 paperwork filed 9/23/10 LTCH arrives.

Waiting is over already!! It came in the mail today 09/23/10! Issued on 09/21/2010 the day after we went to the IMPD office to do the local thing and three days after visiting the L1 office. A total of six days from first applying online until receiving in the mail. Unbelievable in light of the agony of over one hundred days I had to wait by doing it without going through L1 earlier this year. Congratulations to my Sweet Lady,"Cloud Dancer" !!!

It wasnt the lifetime but I got mine in 8 weeks to the day and my dad got his 7 days after filing online and going to L1
