It looks like they used turtle express to mail it though.

I called ISP today and he would give me any info on my gun permit. I filed thru L1 on april 12 and still nothing. When I talking the superintendent he told me to wait a while because I could not prove who I was. Does that mean I got a long time to wait or is that what they tell everybody.

Huzzah!!! My wife applied for her LTCH on Feb. 15 and it finally arrived today. 5 and a half months.

Don't worry - that's what they tell everyone. They are citing the Privacy Act. BTW, they just started doing that about a month ago.

Got my pink card today!!! Was so excited I laminated it..then noticed I was supposed to sign it lolhopefully they don't mind my sig in sharpie!!! Right at 2 months.

Oops it wasn't 2 months. I got printed on 5/3 and got it today. What's that? Almost 3 months...11weeks.

How do the Indiana State police process applications? Is there a certain way they process them. Just wanting to know why some people are getting their LTCH before me when I applied before them. Thanks in advance

If it makes you feel any better I did L1 on 1/8/13 and even paid the extra to expedite. Nothing in the mail, no responce to emails, when I call they tell me because of privacy laws they can't give me any information.

No record, however, it was brought up that already having your prints in the system might slow down a background check. I have prints on record for both a previous federal job and with the local Sheriff; didn't seem to add any additional time than those who do not.
