Due process? Innocent until proven guilty? Jury of your peers?

Just like in Indiana, when your rights are suspended or revoked here, you have an appeal process.
I've heard they jump fast on things here when you do something they deem wrong if you have a HCP.

ETA: Also Tenn DOSHS makes a point to tell that he nor his school is not a certified by the state for training. (In TN you have to complete a safety course before they issue your carry permit.)

Well, that's just hilarious and irritating all at the same time.

    Bingo.

On one hand I'm sure there are lots of "ha, told ya so!"s going on right now.

On the other, we've got a permit holder whose permit was just suspended by the State via email because of them posting an opinion on YouTube. Yikes.

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced today the suspension of James Yeager’s handgun carry permit after he was featured in a threatening YouTube video post that went viral earlier this week.

This certainly illustrates the fact that if you put yourself out there and say, write, or video things that might raise concern of "public safety officials", you could pay a price. There's no reason it couldn't happen to anybody here on INGO as well--post with care.

    Couldn't agree more!

Love him or hate him, he lost one right, simply because he exercised another right.

If it can happen to him, it can happen to you!
