    How about them Colts!

They played pretty well tonight. Denver gave them a big gift at the end with the penalties that kept Manning off the field. I was thinking that Manning + 90secs was going to be a pretty good show prior to the Talib eye-gouging penalty.

Amazing what happens when Luck actually has time to throw the ball. And welcome back in the mix Griff Whalen!

Clearly pep not leading the offense was huge as well. Never was a fan of pep. Clear difference in O tonight.

Yea, had some pretty good play calling. Luck stayed on his feet many times when he should have took a dive. He took a hellova beating. He's one tough SOB.
    Good Game Colts.

Whalen was certainly a difference maker last night. Maybe he should be moved up on the depth chart and 81 should be moved down. He really hasn't been the positive difference everyone thought he would be when he was signed.

Working in Denver area and you should have seen the interview with Talib on the local station after the game on his "inadvertent" poking of the eye. I was laughing so hard.

The Colts showed that when they want to win badly enough, they'll find a way. They showed a lot of energy at the start of the game and they need to find a way to keep starting like that. A lot of players stepped up. I don't know if replacing Pep really made that much difference (he was well liked), but certainly the new O coordinator will get some kudos for this game (deserved or not). Vinatieri was magnificent! Too bad that Luck had to take so much punishment to make some yardage and first downs. They have to find an alternative to that.

I'm not sold on the Colts being back just yet. This up and down rollercoaster they put on the field is exasperating at the very least.
Hamilton's firing did result as an eye opener. Sort of a "Perform or hit the road" hint.
There was more imaginative play calling which was good to see. Keeping the defense honest was important to the improved offense.
Good thing we've got a decent back up QB. We'll probably need him. Luck is getting hammered on a regular basis.
