Idunno though. RG3’s game relied too much on option offense and his physical abilities. After he came back from his injury, defenses kinda figured out the option stuff and RG3 lost some of his physical ability. He had no other dimension to his game. He was done.

AR has some other dimensions. We’ll see how long lived his game is.
AR suffered two freak injuries this season. He's also very young (the guy only recently can legally drink alcohol) and still has a couple of years of physical development to reach parity with a typical NFL rookie.

His mental game (pre-snap reads, pocket presence, route progression reads, etc.) is clearly better than Minshew. His playbook is much more open than Minshew's. He is all upside at this point.

At this point in his career, the "injury prone" knock is complete nonsense. It could prove to be true, of course. But right now, it's just BS generally brought up by people still salty that the Colts didn't draft (the Jeff George-esque) Will Levis.

Your first quote clearly says receivers.
    Yes, and?

The chart shows how successful a QB is in generating a positive play, either through the air or on the ground, when receivers are "perfectly covered". It has nothing to do with QB pressure or line play.

Football is a team sport. How can it not be? You chart is useless BS

    And is injury prone.
    Injuries happen in football.

Across 5 seasons, 4,378 time-lost injuries were reported. So, on average, every player suffers a time-lost (at least 1 game) injury every two seasons, based on these data. (And that's not including players on IR or otherwise exempt.) That also doesn't include all reported injuries, which would be a much higher number.

You merely listed all of AR's various injuries in high school, college, and the NFL, lacking any context of missed games.
    • In high school, AR played 4 years and missed 4 games due to injury.
    • In college, AR played 3 years and missed 5 games due to injury (3 games of which were due to a non-football injury).
Those are perfectly normal numbers and do not indicate that he is particularly prone to injury.

    Useless BS?

It very clearly indicates that Will Levis is, far and away, the worst QB in the league at generating a positive play when receivers are perfectly covered. That might be "useless BS" to you, but it likely factors into why he dropped to the second round of the draft.
