Levis hasn’t panned out quite. AR hasn’t either. But he has more potential to pan out I think.

I thought the colts should have tried to get CJ Stroud. We’ll see who ends up doing better if there’s a comparison.
I wanted CJ Stroud, but knew they'd have no (realistic) chance to get him. I am very, very happy with AR.

That's totally fair. None of the rookies is proven, halfway through their first season.
    But. :):

He's had a pretty positive rookie year compared to the rest of the 2023 rookie QB class. Maybe AR would make Stroud's odds a little more challenging if he'd had the whole season to make his claim. But we'll never know. We know what Stroud has done tho.

Stroud should be in the MVP conversation. The Texans would have a worse record than the Titans without him. Instead, they're in the hunt for a Wild Card.

Also the reason that Steichen should be coach of the year.

He’s done everything that DeMeco Ryans has done without a phenomenal rookie year from his quarterback.

    Absolutely!

Stroud should be in the conversation for MVP.
Steichen should be the Coach of the Year - particularly when the Colts make the playoffs.

    AFC Playoff Picture

    DIVISION LEADERS

    1. Dolphins (9-3): Own the AFC record tiebreaker over the Ravens.

    2. Ravens (9-3): Commanding lead in the AFC North.

    3. Chiefs (8-4): Win the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Jaguars.

    4. Jaguars (8-4): The Texans are in their rear-view mirrors in the AFC South.

    WILD CARDS

    5. Browns (7-5): Own head-to-head tiebreaker over Colts.

    6. Colts (7-5): Indianapolis has the head-to-head tiebreaker over Houston.

    7. Texans (7-5): Got the win they needed over the Broncos.

    OUTSIDE LOOKING IN

    8. Steelers (7-6): Back-to-back losses against the Cardinals and Patriots were a disaster for Pittsburgh’s chances of making the playoffs.

    9. Broncos (6-6): Own the conference record tiebreaker over Bengals and head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bills.

    10. Bengals (6-6): Own the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bills.

    11. Bills (6-6): They’re one of the seven best teams in the conference, but that doesn’t mean they’ll make the playoffs.

Those terrible calls in the Browns game are going to haunt the Colts. I hope they do not become the tie breaker that keeps the Colts out of the playoffs.

Are Colts fans rooting for the wildcard or the dream of division winner?

Who should Colts fans root for Jacksonville vs. Cleveland and why?

Because of so many division games and so many of the current 5-7 seeds playing at least two of each other I think 9 wins will be in but 10 would be a certainty. Now someone without a tiebreaker at 9 may also get left out…

Looking back on the Colts’ schedule and noticed something I found kinda interesting.

Every team has those games when they lose to a team they shouldn’t.

The Colts don’t really have that yet this year.

We’ve beaten the bad teams on our schedule.

    Titans (2x)
    Panthers
    Patriots
    Bucs

Maybe the Saints game, but it’s not like they’re a bottom feeder. They’re a .500 team with a good quarterback and good weapons.

Feels like the Colts teams of the past would find way to lose to bad teams.

    Our losses this year:
    Jags twice, really good team
    Rams, good team
Browns, good team. And we won.
    Saints, good team

    Coaching matters.
