Questionable parenting isn't generation-specific. I know a girl (because I don't think she's really grown up, at 40) whose mother helped with her rent (even though she had a roommate) up till the day she moved in with the guy (who is my insight into this whole spiel) who decided to marry her. After they were married, he'd get credit card bills with thousands of dollars in unexpected charges on them that she never bothered to mention. She eventually broke up a couple of marriages (hers and another's), declared bankruptcy, married the new guy (the divorce kept making her push back the date), declared bankruptcy again (pretty much to the day when she was eligible to do so again)...
There are, in fact, a lot of examples of millennials who are troublesome in the workplace. How often do we hear about the new hire who is doing a good job, though? We get these coastal millennials who post stupid things or make stupid demands and get some publicity out of it (whether they wanted it or not). However, we're not hearing about the 30-38 year olds who are doing just fine being a part of society and raising a family.
Thankfully, I have seen some reporting about how the generation is more likely to stand up for gun rights, despite the vocal minority.
