The New York Times reported Mayorkas’ closed-door demand:

[Mayorkas’] Homeland Security Department has been pressing the White House for months to adopt a plan that would allow Immigration and Customs Enforcement to transport immigrants released at the southern border to the cities where they wish to wait for their immigration court proceedings.
On Thursday afternoon, hours after the migrants were deposited outside the vice president’s home, ICE sent another proposal to the White House: to transport migrants apprehended and screened by the Border Patrol to cities where they have family or other sponsors, such as Miami or Los Angeles, according to a document obtained by The New York Times. There, immigration officials would finish [emphasis added] the paperwork and processing necessary to release them to await their day in court.
The plan would also involve coordinating with [government-funded] nonprofit organizations ahead of time so that they are aware of pending arrivals.

They may have screwed up with the Martha's Vineyard stunt. NPR reported a little bit ago that they told the ILLEGALS that there was a surprise waiting for them, and that they would have housing and at least 3 months of work where they were going.


While in TX, they were also each given addresses to report to for hearings as early as Monday. The problem is those addresses appear to be all over the country. They said the closest hearing was down in DC, but one of the ILLEGALS was supposed to report to an address in Tacoma, WA. So apparently all of these folks were going to be transported to various parts of the country by the feds before the state pulled this stunt.

I do find it interesting that no one seems to want to hold the STATE that the illegal immigrants come into accountable for THEIR problem. After all us conservatives are all about smaller government so why do the border states come wining to the feds to fix the problem.

I suggested we create a 100yard wide DMZ peppered with landmines and automated sentry guns every 100 yards with interlocking fields of fire.
To pay for it line the entire thing with CCTV and sell it via PPV.

Constitution of the United States of America, Article IV Section 4.

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

I don't care which political party is in power, each one of the elected legislators and the Executive took and oath to “... the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

What is occurring on the Southern border is an invasion. Look at the pictures with large quantities of military age males, all to often under the flag of another nation.

The political scum who took an oath, then subvert the very document they swore to protect and defend (of either Party; looking at you Young) do not deserve their seats. By their action, or lack of action, they actively work to subvert this Nation's Constitution.

Read the second sig line. It might help. The Federal Government should be about 20% of what it is. That twenty percent's primary role should be to protect the Nation's border and sovereignty.
