The border is controlled by the feds. The state has no authority. This is a fed created problem and bidet is ignoring the issue. Oh, why am I explaining this to a communist sympathizer?
Sympathizer? Contrary. Yes section 4 involves the Feds for help and support. And of course Pubs May have been in power more years than the Dems in our history. But the hard facts are, immigration problems are not new. State failure is not new. Fed failure is not new.

Neither side really doesn’t want to fix anything as what would they use for political ping pong to get votes.

If someone came into your house uninvited, I’m sure you wouldn’t wait on the feds that you love so much to deal with it.

Fact is, none of this discussion will fix Washington or our State Government until the will of the people get off their arse and vote.

Obviously not enough. The trespassers set their foot down first in a township, county and a border state. The governor and state reps could best answer that question as to why he solely relies on the underfunded overworked Border patrol to deal with it. Shouldn’t we all be asking for accountability of the border states since we know both parties have chosen not to fix it?

Perhaps the convenience of calling it a federal problem first let’s the state take the easy way off the hook?

Umm, difficult to do, when they get slapped down by the feds.

Could be….but it still remains large government, (4 levels) which is contrary to the conservative platform. Gonna take money and reform to fix the problem but like all the major problems in THIS country, health, education, welfare, crime, etc, playing political ping pong keeps it business as usual. In other words, the people don’t want it fixed bad enough. If they did more than 25 percent of them might vote.

requiring ONLY the feds to do something about it is equivalent to being told "If somebody enters your home uninvited you must walk away and call 911 for the police to come take care of it. You are not allowed to act in your own defense. If they sit down and start eating your food, or rifling through your stuff taking what is not theirs, tough. Gotta wait for the cops. Oh, and by the way, the cops may not be there for a while because there arent enough officers and the leadership REALLY doesnt care. Good luck."

I don’t love the feds. I actually loathe them. I prefer the citizens take the border armed and hold it as needed. Tell the “officials” to FO.

Maybe Florida doesn’t have a Military base however while political grandstanding is taking place, I find that locating these central and South Americans to the coldest part of the country in a few months will be a surprise to them. No tomatoes to pick either. Perhaps they will take the McDonalds jobs that no one wants.
