Sympathizer? Contrary. Yes section 4 involves the Feds for help and support. And of course Pubs May have been in power more years than the Dems in our history. But the hard facts are, immigration problems are not new. State failure is not new. Fed failure is not new.

Neither side really doesn’t want to fix anything as what would they use for political ping pong to get votes.

If someone came into your house uninvited, I’m sure you wouldn’t wait on the feds that you love so much to deal with it.

Fact is, none of this discussion will fix Washington or our State Government until the will of the people get off their arse and vote.
Ever occur to you that is the point of all this? To teach an uneducated public that this is a real crisis,,,

Obviously not enough. The trespassers set their foot down first in a township, county and a border state. The governor and state reps could best answer that question as to why he solely relies on the underfunded overworked Border patrol to deal with it. Shouldn’t we all be asking for accountability of the border states since we know both parties have chosen not to fix it?

Perhaps the convenience of calling it a federal problem first let’s the state take the easy way off the hook?
Again, you need to research the topic. Federal courts have decreed this is the federal governments responsibility and have restricted the states from handling the issue themselves…

Texas and the other 49 states surrendered various rights and authorities when they entered the Union, and nowhere is this truer than in their ability to enforce the immigration laws. Immigration is the ultimate federal authority and in 2012 the Supreme Court held that the states have no power to enforce the immigration laws themselves.
"The federal government is not living up to their end of the Constitutional bargain" The States are not even allowed to enforce federal immigration laws that Congress has passed that they won't enforce.

The feds are in breach of that agreement and the southern States most affected by that breach of agreement are bringing it to their attention by shipping illegals to their doorsteps reminding them that they have a Constitutional duty to address the situation and the State locals in the interior they are shipping them to should also be made to feel the effect of that breach as well and join in their grievance against the federal government instead of repeatedly vilifying the southern States for trying to bring it to the national forefront who are bearing the brunt of it.

This should be a united States v. Federal government border security issue that ultimately has an effect on us all.

And how’s that working out? Do we need even bigger government? (Irony) Both parties have not fixed the problem which falls to the people that enable the fail.

    Exactly.

Too bad someone can't play that clip on ALL the networks
'Beetlejuice" Lightfoot declared in 2019 that the sanctuary city of Chicago has been welcoming migrants from all over the world for the past 150. years. Then she cries foul after a few busloads of illegal immigrants arrive and immediately ships them off to suburban villages without notifying village officials. That doesn't seem very welcoming to me.

It seems as if your saying in your earlier posts that until the states do something it’s on them, that to ask the feds to live up to their end of a bargain is growing the federal govt, and yet here we have “the states” doing something, governors and others masterfully bringing national attention to the situation, while at the same time forcing the left to come out as the hypocrites they are. And you’re complaining about it? Do you have a place in Martha’s Vineyard or something?

You keep talking about “both parties”
and bigger govt, but these governors are acting more independently than anyone else involved.

In one of your first posts on this you said something about voting, to fix this.
Well, the people did, they voted for Desantis and Abbott, and they’re doing something. Now that it’s slightly distasteful, we need to not do it?

Drawing attention to the immigration problem.? It’s been a Presidential Campaign issue for the last 8 elections. Both sides. It’s still broken.

We will have to see what if any this human trafficking stunt will result in suddenly DC fixing the problem.

    Highly doubt it.

Not many are counting on DC to fix it. Certainly not on their own. This is what it looks like to force someone’s hand, to make the left feel very vulnerable when it comes election time, to at least tell the truth. At least it’s an action that will have a reaction, better than doing nothing, which is basically what voting is.

    And human trafficking? Pu-leees.

Human trafficking? Kidnapping? Hardly Now you are just using a liberal political talking point coming from people like Hilary Clinton and others on the left.

They were'nt physically forced or coerced onto those busses and airplanes for purposes of forced labor or commercial sex acts nor held captive for ransom.. They went of their own free will and were released without harm or any conditions when they arrived at their destinations.

Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide – including right here in the United States

    Legal Definition of kidnapping

: an act or instance or the crime of seizing, confining, inveigling, abducting, or carrying away a person by force or fraud often with a demand for ransom or in furtherance of another crime
