    McVeigh was buried alive?

(would have been kind of fitting since he buried people alive)

No, I mean bury him alive with McVeigh's cadaver. I know Mr. Jarrell, 8th Amendment and all that.

How about life in prison, and waterboarded every day?

People still don't realize or they refuse to realize who they are dealing with.
Killing them is the only option.
They can't be bargained with and they are
unwilling to live with the rest of the world that does not bow before them.
It's not going to get better if they are "just left alone" they'll never stop.

The more we turn the other cheek the bolder they as a group will become.
Treat them as they do us. Same punishments. It will not stop them but it might slow them down a bit.
Probably not but what to do.....give the little POS more time to ponder.

People can be un-brainwashed. I suppose. But whatever, this guy earned the death penalty. There's no doubt of his guilt of mass killing.

They should have shot him when they arrested him to save $, next best choice is to keep him alive in general prison population daily beatings etc for life seems fair

    .
He's had his fair public trial and now should get a fair public hanging. Capital punishment isn't about revenge for crimes, it's a demonstration of the consequences brought by breaking the laws of civil society. It was in the past, and still should be a public demonstration.

The last public execution in the US was in the 1920's or 30's so it's been a while.

Penalty phase of trial begins today.

Now that we've had some time since the guilty sentencing... do we still feel the same about death penalty/no death penalty?

If the trial was being held somewhere [STRIKE]west[/STRIKE]east of California and [STRIKE]east[/STRIKE]west of Ohio (except for Illinois), I'd say he'd get the death penalty. Up there, I'm not sure.

Either way, it'll be probably 7-10 years from sentencing before he is executed.

    Edit:
Thanks for the directional correction D-Ric. :) I need more coffee.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to D-Ric902 again.
