Bourbon at the NWI INGO CLUBHOUSE today at 11:30am in Schererville.

I'm expecting a delivery of JEFFERSON'S OCEAN Voyage #5. I'll bring a few others with me. Balcone's Baby Blue, Koval Single Barrel, Eagle Rare 10, blah blah blah ....

INGO member 3FloydsFan will be carrying in the coveted amber colored juice, fresh off the shelf from Binny's. My friend Dave will be there, he a cigar, gun & railroad guy (but not an INGO member).

Looked at a bottle of Ocean 5 tonight. I'm secretly crying I had to leave it behind.

To lazy to read all 20 pages, has anyone said anything about EH Taylor? I saw 3 bottles of it today, I don't remember what they were beyond that, 3 different price points.

Probably all safely over $50 per bottle I'll bet. EH Taylor is some good stuff.

Bummer. Honestly I think I benefit from being reasonably close to Chicago and the big stores there seem to compete with the big stores in NW Indiana so we have a decent selection and its all usually sold at MSRP.

There were 2 of us there who also have bottles of Voyage 4 and both of us thought it was as good or perhaps better than Voyage 4. We did not, however, do a bottle to bottle comparison as nobody brought a bottle of Voyage 4 to compare.

Voyage 5 was clearly the favorite bourbon at the testing. That was unanimous.

I want to do a blind taste test with a few bourbons, just to see if hype plays into some of these bourbons.
