That's absolutely ridiculous.

I pay with $2 bills every once and again for the fun of it. I also like the $1 coins. I haven't met a cashier yet who knows what to do with them.

I ran into a cashier that absolutely refused to accept a $1 coin, simply could not convince him it was real. At least he didn't call the police on me.

Odd, but welcomed. I really hope they influence Ruger and other mfgrs. All those trigger warnings and "read the manual" text imprinted on pistols really detracts from the beauty.

According to wikipedia, the town population is just over 1,000 and only twelve votes were cast in 2014.



Sounds like a great place to live.
