    Meh.

Cursive servers one purpose only - to make writing faster. And who really needs to write fast anymore? It'd be far more useful to spend that time learning to type properly.

If the teacher says print your name, you print your name. INGO loves to complain about disrespectful kids, at least until there's a teacher we can pick on.

It is a skill. Loseing a skill brings you one step closer to being a democrat.

    A skill? Like spelling? ;)

You can't lose a skill if you never possessed it. Writing in cursive is outmoded as is horseback riding, spinning yarn and adjusting points in an automobile.

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." - Robert Heinlein

He could also add "write in cursive."

Ha ha, spelling, right. But I think you got the geist of what I was getting at.

Unless we're talking approaching lightspeed, I have it on pretty good authority we're aging at the exact same rate.

Latinos age slower than other ethnic groups, UCLA study says | abc7.com
Sounds like slower rate of metabolic processes. Their cells show signs of age slower. Like how some people mature at different rates.

Not at all farfetched or unbelievable. Different ethnic groups have different rates of average maturation. Makes sense that difference in aging could extend to later in life.

    CNN have a Freudian slip?

CNN headline makes blacks and felons synonymous | TheHill

Here's the CNN headline: Trump wants GOP to court black voters — then slams voting rights for felons

    Freudian slip, maybe...whatever.

What I can tell you is that for some reason, there are prominent voices who claim to speak for the African-American community who see the felon suffrage issue as a black suffrage issue.
