I maintain that choosing to adopt "wokeness" is fear (and weakness) based. Most people who do it are doing it because they fear judgement from others, not because they recognize an inherent merit. They're desperately trying to be part of a group at almost any cost.

I kinda think they’re chasing easy virtue.

    I fear judgement from others.
Just the other day, I was worried about what all the Democrat Presidential Candidates would think of me.

    :)

    Fearful I tell ya.

I think somebody watched too many cartoons.

This did happen in my Home-Ec class in Jr. High.
Yes... Of course I took Home-Ec. I learned to sew, cook and got to eat everything after. Not to mention I did this with the hottest girls in school. I was the only guy there.

    Laugh now, buttercup. :):

Everyone had to take one cooking, and one sewing class.
I think it was a good idea.

    WOW!
That's great. I think everyone should take it. On the west coast it was a total elective and considered a sissy class. But I remembered walking past and seeing chicks measuring each other for sewing (that was hot) and I had math next door when they prepared food and sometimes the girls would walk the halls with a plate of whatever and offered out samples. Eating was (and still is) my favorite hobby.
So when the option was given it was a no brainer. I was ridiculed at first but that next year there was more than 5 football players taking it.

After I was married my wife had a little business as a "seamstress". Hell, I could sew circles around her. (not anymore, I'd run out of thread) :n00b:

Well thank goodness they didn't use a gun.

I've been known to have buckets of breasts, legs and thighs. But that's just from KFC. Heads would be gross, but rooster genitalia would be completely unacceptable.

What do you think those little round crunchy things are in the bottom of the bucket. :):

Police officer walks into someone's house, without a warrant or permission, then shoots the family dog.

Officer: Well, the dog came down the stairs and growled. Immunity please?

6th Cir.: That's what dogs do when strangers enter uninvited. No immunity.

I assume the officer will now be charged with animal cruelty (killing a domestic animal), reckless endangerment (discharging a firearm inside a residence without cause), destruction of property (killing the dog) breaking and entering (no warrant and no cause to enter) and anything else a non-LEO citizen would get charged with if they did the same?
