I got "enrolled" in two unions against my will when I was in California. The first was when the grad assistants at UC Berkeley formed a UAW affiliated union and then informed us that we were members and shortly thereafter, there was a strike. I ignored it and went to work (they didn't have any union enforces then). A similar thing happened when I was employed by US EPA when Federal government employee unions (other than USPS) were in their infancy.

I agree that Jackson was one of the worst presidents, I have more respect for Harriet Tubman than him.

I do not care if her face is on the $20 or the $1,000 bill. It will still not be worth the paper it is printed on.

When I was married I could fill a large shopping cart for $50, now I do good to fill two grocery bags for that.
