Looks like a Sight Mark RDS, and it's not backwards. It's just unconventional compared to an Eotech.

Thanks, I really like handing the old ones to the younger folks who have grown up on rails, vertical grips, flashlights, optics, heavy barrels and spare batteries. They see how light the AR used to be.
