i have open carried in my local applebees many times. never had a word said to me. i do not sit at the bar, only at tables. i dont know if that has anything to do with it or not. there is one in ohio that has posted no firearms but the one in richmond in. does not. i have only had a few problems with people at stores when i open carry. after explaining to them that by law, i can carry, and that their business is not posted no firearms they and i go about our day.

    I only carry concealed.
It is no more any of their business if I am carrying than if I'm wearing boxers or briefs.

I have a hard time understanding why some people chose to continually asked law abiding people to leave an establishment where we are spending money and not to come back just because they are leaglly possesing a fire arm. They arent waving it around or showing it off. And we talk to each other. I didnt care much for applebees but i am definately not going to be eating there again.

I used to like Applebee's but haven't been to one in several years. The last few times in, it was a bad experience with either the staff, the food or both. It sounds like they are screwed up in more ways than knowing how to run a business.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this story.

The guy is wearing a belt buckle and the police escort him out? Surely he must have been doing something else?

Heaven forbid someone goes in there with a gun image printed on their T-shirt, certainly the SWAT team would be called out for that!

Seriously, on what grounds would the police have to remove the guy from Applebees? I have to figure the guy was being an obnoxious jerk. The gun belt buckle was probably just an excuse used to remove him.

Hopefully he was throwing a fit for being harassed
