    the SGM mags can be made to run but they take some work.

    Unfortunately the only thing that has been 100% in my V12 has been the russian 5 and 8 rounders. I say unfortunately because the 8 rounders are $80 each now.

    The price of Russian vepr12/saiga030 mags doesn't bother me too much. I remember when Russian S12 rock n lock mags were going for more than $250.00 each. I prefer the saiga 030 mags for my vepr. I prefer the look and feel, but it does give the gun an identity crisis.

    That is a fake suppressor from Brownells on top of a CNC warrior 14x1 LH thread adapter because I am a fanboy. :yesway:

    SBR and real can planned for the future...

    If you've got a fake can mounted on there most of the time, you may as well pin+weld a real device on to get enough barrel length and get rid of the arm brace. Otherwise, replace the fake can and use a brake/comp/hider and receive some benefit for the extra length.

    ;) It is my all time favorite AK.

    This one is pretty nice, and I like it so much I've actually got all the parts together to build another as my go-to rifle.
