Don't know if I've posted this in this thread before, but my camera caught this flash in a video I was recording.

Yugo M70AB2 with a cheap tapco 74 brake on it.

If you have been following the AK Build Party thread, you've watched my new Commie girls go from parts to superstars. They have more siblings coming...

I have found that using Mothers "Back to Black" does wonders for plum/black AK furniture (this should work for any darker color poly furniture/mags). It is designed for use on exterior/interior black trim for autos but serves the same function here. Goes on clear and leaves no residue or finish behind. You just continue to rub it in and remove any excess. I had four beaten Bulgy Circle 21s that I tried this on first and they look true black again. Worked on the plum mags next and same story there.

Most of these products leave an oily finish but with this you just wipe it completely dry and it does improve and scratches or scuffs. Not a cure all and they still wont look new but it does help an ugly mag or furniture. I'll repost pics of my Bulgy 74 and RPK when I do them.

    Nice!

One of my favorite things about AK's. They are all so different, yet so cool.
No one "type" is the "pinnacle"

    (Favorites aside. . .)

If I got there first I would pass it over to you so I could get the 105 - my own personal absolute. Type 1 - cool for sure, but not at all what I would want.
