I'm posting this in a vain attempt to make Clay jealous.

On the left was the AK74 with the stuck pin with her Bulgarian twin. I finally finished the build. Eventually, all the AKs will get a black Duracoat on the metal and wood refinish. Their Egyptian brother is next and in parts on the bench. Their Romanian big brother will arrive this week and will be after that. I can't wait to put him together.

A couple more pics for Alan at AA Optics who went out of his way to get us a Vortex Viper PST in time for the show.

Alan is a class act and will be my first stop for optics for sure.

Century Romanian WASR 10/63 with Balkans stock set from Apex. I'm afraid the brillo pad marks may be a bit too apparent. What do you think? Does it look "natural" or what?

Not too apparent from my view.

One way to make it a little less obvious if you are concerned about it:

    Vinegar

Soak that puppy in Vinegar for a couple hours and give it a good rinsing and oiling.

Busted the poly Tromix stock on my Saiga 12. Contacted Tony Rumours, and he sent me an aluminum replacement ASAP. Very pleased with their customer service, and the way his parts turned out.
