Fox59 is jumping on the bandwagon..

    From their FB page:

In Nevada, open carry is legal without the need for registration or a license. This includes bars, casinos and in vehicles.
Semi-automatic weapons are legal with no restrictions on the amount of guns owned by a person or the capacity of the magazine.

When the shooter was black, they gave his race. It's part of the description as much as his age is. People want to know, so they report it. Sure, some people will infer some things about race and make a big deal of it.

That's funny.....I remember them saying the black shooter was a white racist named Gavin Long, and even altered his complexion to fit the media agenda. Or how about when they had us all believing Trayvon was a little kid....remember them photos? I am skeptical of the media, that's all.

Maybe already covered but the shooter's family is saying he was loaded so that drops outside funding out of the equation. I'm sure it's been said but what the **** is wrong with people??

One of the docs interviewed that examined the wounds stated that "the weapons used weren't your average street guns". Can someone explain what a "street gun" is?

Pretty sure that an ER doc would mostly see the results of "street" shootings, the vast majority which would be handgun wounds. I would think that "street gun" would be a handgun. It's fairly uncommon for a rifle to be used in a street crime.

John Rich was on FOXNews talking about the shooting. He was in a bar carrying his CCW when a out of state police officers asked him if he had his gun on him. John Rich said yes and gave it to the police officer who stud guard at the front door. It starts about the 2:50 mark.

not sure if this has been posted. to me it sounds like the speed of the shots accelerates and decelerates. Ive never messed with the slide fire stocks but could this be what it was?

Yeah I haven't used one but from looking at videos of them, they can definitely change speeds. There are tons of "slide fire 100 round mag dumps" on youtube. None of them sound quite like that - usually there's a lot less variation in rpm, and most of the AR-15 examples fire noticeably faster. The AK examples sounds closer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_SWefYWKw0&t=164s

But I'd imagine lots of things affect the rate, like the weight of rifle and the force you use to push forward etc.

Not entirely true. A trauma doc would see hunting accidents as well which involve long guns.

As many of us suspected, LA Times reports LEO source indicating at least one of the shooter's rifles was equipped with a "bump-stock". (3rd paragraph in the article)

Congressman briefed on Las Vegas shooting probe says no motive has emerged for the attack - LA Times

    From the article:

Something just incredibly wrong happened to my brother."

Uhm... He did something incredibly wrong... I wouldn't say anything "happened" to him.

What a tragedy because of what appears to be the actions of one man.

So what is the president's response to this? Does he simply say a speech about how horrible this is, and leave it at that, or does he try to come up with some sort of plan that addresses a problem we have with unsettling regularity?
And how how the hell does Aldean scurry off stage without giving the crowd a "get the hell out of here?"
Has anyone else "come up with...a plan...."? Did Pres. Obama have "a plan"? Do you?
If you thought you were being shot at, would your first reaction be .... stay on stage and make an announcement? Or "get the hell out of here!"?

The death toll stands at 58, the wounded count is around 515. Do you guys think we have a big fight coming our way right now? Even with Republicans in control you never know what can happen

If he told people to run for their lives, the lawyers would line up to sue him for every trampled person.
