As a 'newbie', I would like to put in my . I first learned of this site at the last 1500, and checked it out when I got home. Wow what a great resource!. I am new to all of this, so my post count is still low. But I have read 1,000's of posts! I first became a sit supporter to use the classifieds. But I have not bought or sold anything. I also realize the money i sent in has been paid back at least 1,000 fold on all the info I have gleaned.
I hope as I learn more, I will be able to input more. But for now, I am still on the receiving end.

Do you think that if a "Marlin Model 60 Scope Info" thread was made a sticky, we could convince him to come back?

Maybe make purchase of a Model 60 and a scope that the community all agrees on, then successfully mounting the scope on the rifle, zeroing it at 200 yards and posting pictures of the said person shooting it wrapped in bacon as a requirement for the classifieds?

I own a model 60. Can someone show me how to put a scope on it? I call it my dirty gun because when I got it, it looked as if it had not been cleaned since 1982.

Had a Marlin model 60 once, didn't like it so I gave it to a BIL I didn't like. Would that get you over the 50 post requirement?
