Just so I'm clear, the working theory is that the RINO from Columbus voted against CC because he was influenced by a company in his district, despite there being no evidence said company has a position on the legislation?

I agree Cummins has veered outside it's lane on several issues. If they advocated against CC then they're open to criticism. But if it's just pure speculation than we're shifting responsibility from the legislator who voted against the rights of his constituents onto an evil corporation. That's a game democrats generally like to play and frankly, it's nonsense.
I can’t speak to this bill in particular. If memory serves(and it may not) they opposed the guns in parking lots bill.
If someone had the time they could check Walkers campaign contributions and maybe learn something.

@JEBland, sorry you are represented by a lying idiot...

    Any chance of a replacement?
Out here in Purdue land? No. I'm just glad we have Sen. Alting (who voted yea and he replied to my email).

I can't believe we have a representative who believes the line "criminals won't illegally carry." Or who doubles down on a guy whose department hires Nazis or a Superintendent who believes that the burden of proof lies on the citizen.

Better check your six, and find a tail gunner...

Liz Brown may hunt you down for outing her hypocrisy. :lmfao:
I always check my six, and USAF ain't had a tail gunner since 1994. I'll yank and bank as needed ;)

I thought for a second there that he had upset Hilary.
That ain't the case, I'm not dead!

With your next round of emails to Gov Holcomb, remind him that Alabama’s governor just signed their CC bill into law today.

    And that:

    And that:
    :rockwoot:

Today Alabama became the 22nd State to adopt permit-less carry of handguns.

MONTGOMERY – Governor Kay Ivey on Thursday signed House Bill 272, known as the constitutional carry bill, into law, defending law abiding Alabamians’ Second Amendment rights.

“Unlike states who are doing everything in their power to make it harder for law abiding citizens, Alabama is reaffirming our commitment to defending our Second Amendment rights,” said Governor Ivey. “I have always stood up for the rights of law abiding gunowners, and I am proud to do that again today.”

In April 2019 at the NRA Annual Meeting of Members you said, “Removing any and all barriers for lawful carry in our state is significant for the many Hoosier gun owners who want to protect themselves and others.”

In 2019 you sounded a lot like Governor Ivey did today.

    Sign HB 1296 into law.

Bumping the short version I sent last night/this thread is getting huge/can't find the other one. Just edit "today" to "on March 10" or something.

Foot through the firewall is over. Now the gas pedal is so far down we are hitting the oil pan!! (May not be a mechanically accurate statement. Please forgive me, my last V8 was in 1984. Just keep those calls and emails going!)

    Where's the bacon?
Why are you guys so intent on trying to convince him to sign in?
So he doesn't actively veto it, thinking that "the people don't want it".

He could just ignore it, which would be fine by me, as it still becomes law that way, but actively signing it and making it law would be better optics for someone running for US Senate.

I can't speak for everyone, but my thought is if enough of us are hounding him to sign, he won't think he could get away with a veto, and will at least let it go into effect by ignoring it.
