So if Johnson gets a bump in the polls, is he in at the next debate? That might make things interesting...

Well, undecided voters probably aren't so undecided anymore. That was ugly.
Gotta agree. Only people who have been following politics would have watched the entire debate. Someone that does not care enough and are still undecided would have quite after about 20 minutes. The first 20 minutes was close enough to a tie that an undecided still hasn't made a decision they'll admit to in public.

A debate doesn't change the opinions of the already "commited" voter. It's the undecided ones that are up for grabs. Trump didn't look good at all.

Reading this thread was entertaining. Lots of anti-HRC people in the gun forum (as there should be) saying she lost the first part of the debate. She made Trump sound like a preschooler, and that's coming from someone that absolutely despises her more than anything. He lost that debate the entire way through. And I'm not happy about either of their stances on anything constitutional. Trump is for "stop and frisk" are you kidding me? That is the most unconstitutional crap I've ever heard, and HRC is only against it "because it's racist." Wrong answers, folks. And Trump being for "no fly, no buy".....**** it, I'm voting Johnson. I really don't care if HRC wins over Trump anymore. They are both equally terrible. This debate SHOULD have been between 2 adults. Instead, we got these turds. I was literally screaming at my tv last night. Trump just threw the election down the toilet last night. He doesn't represent Republicans or conservatives.

From what I have seen last night and this morning, everyone seems to have seen what they wanted to see...which is about right these days.

Me? I saw exactly what I wanted to see...which was NOT the debate.

So... Candidates are so bad and childish so you're going to skip the opportunity to try to keep Hillary from nominating 2-4 Supreme Court justices and permanently changing our country.

but you say trump is acting childish

Like I said.....Trump isn't a Republican nor a Conservative. I don't think his nominations would be anything better than HRC's. He's for "no fly, no buy" and other clearly anti - 2nd A policies. And keep in mind, the Senate must approve SCOTUS nominees. What needs to happen is we need to keep control of the Senate. Between the two (HRC and Trump), if one has to win, I don't care who it is. I'm voting Johnson. It's time for another party to step in.

I don't buy that. I know he acts sometimes like he's not planning to win. And that may fit snugly in a great conspiracy theory. But I'm not buying it. I honestly think he doesn't do the things that someone who wants to win would do, because he actually has no clue and is way in over is head.

Hey, when you can tell me anything he'd be doing differently to prove otherwise... it remains a plausible theory.

It's all worked out way too perfectly... a "former" democrat running against her, and seemingly every action helping her... and hurting her opposing party for years to come.

Another party will not step in at the general election. You do that AFTER the general so you can make inroads in local and state races and have some momentum for the presidential.

i love all the people that say trump isn't doing the things you do if you want to win, as he keeps winning primaries, nominations, endorsements, and gaining in the polls.

He looked like a child last night. He actually LOST my vote. The only places saying he won any portion of the debate are far right leaning (like a gun forum).

I'm at the point where I feel like I'm done too. I'll vote for down-ballot. But for POTUS I'm still leaning towards Al Bundy.

I like GFGT, he's a good INGOer. :yesway:

Welp, here's your first. I was uncommitted, but leaning towards Trump due to my hatred of HRC. I'll now be voting Johnson. Trump is not a conservative, nor a republican. With the two major parties, you now have your choice between a liberal and a liberal.

Of course a non-poll poll. But interesting nonetheless. We shoudl come back to that later in the day.

And I'd like ot hear about any change in uncommitted voters.
