For the love of pete....Gary's attorneys just moved for a status conference and are apparently revving things back up. I may be getting involved in this again.

The City of Gary takes it up to the Court of Appeals and may get the law struck down as unconstitutional.

Never understood the obsession with this lawsuit. Like a scab they could not stop picking at it. Instead of letting it go away via 41E, they are rocking the boat and risk a very bad result in the higher courts.

Every year they beat the drum over this lawsuit, instead of constitutional carry, abolishing gun free zones, tax deductions for training, or any other idea I have backed, they talked about this lawsuit. Strange days.

Just speaking politically, nothing against people getting paid. Politically, it was a less than optimal move. I told them to cool their jets. There was so much we could have focused on, but they were scope-locked on this.
