    Where's the bacon?
Thank you, everyone who has gotten involved and mailed those who needed to be mailed. The committee hearing is tomorrow morning at 9AM! If you haven't yet contacted your legislators, the time is NOW!

    Blessings,
    Bill

I've got a question about the workings of the committee. I see there are 4 conferees and 10 advisors. I would assume that the conferees are the ones that vote and the advisors are the ones that work out any language tweaks. (But I'm am just guessing). Is it advisable to send letters to both groups?

Anyone able to watch? I just keep getting "The video stream is not available at this moment". Any chance they just haven't started yet, or do we not get to listen in today? I'm a newbie at this stuff...

I am beginning to think this room does not have video; this is where SB 169 was discussed last week as well. Very frustrating.
And there are no 'official' minutes or transcipts available either. I should have walked over. but I really have work I need to be doing. GAH.
    Stupid job.

    OK! Just got word...

The bill had some minor changes, which I've been told are good, and nothing bad. LSA (the guys who do the actual writing) now have to work those changes in, and the hope is to finalize it this afternoon.

I would give more detail, but I have none to give. Cards are being played VERY close to the vest at this time. The House and Senate both have to approve the changes since they were made in committee, but once made, they will be public.
