Im getting ready to fill out the entry form, and I have question. I am currently unclassified, but I am shooting a classifier match this weekend. If i sign up unclassified will i end up shooting the indiana match as unclassified or will i be able to shoot against my classification that i get before the match? How do i update that info once i am classified?

Corey answered this, but so everyone understand the process

After July 15th whatever you are classified as in the division that you shoot will be your classfication for the match (USPSA updates classifications on or about the 15th of every month, the match is August 10,11,12)

Now the day before the match Marc will run an update just in case.

The Match awards high overall (winner of the division)
Class winner (the person with the highest score in that classification recognizing GM, M, A, B, C, D)
Indiana State Champ (highest resident of Indiana in that division)
    Special Catagories

I follow the recommended recognition explained in Appendix A2

    APPENDIX A2
    USPSA Recognition
Prior to the commencement of a match, the organizers must specify which
    Division(s) will be recognized.
Unless otherwise specified, USPSA sanctioned matches will recognize Divisions
and Categories based on the number of registered competitors who actually compete
in the match, based on the following criteria:

    1. Divisions
Level I and Level II A minimum of 5 competitors per Division (recommended)
Level III / Nationals A minimum of 10 competitors per Division
    (mandatory)

    2. Categories
Division status must be achieved before Categories are recognized.
All level matches A minimum of 5 competitors per Division
    Category (see approved list below)

    3. Individual Categories:
Categories approved for individual recognition are as follows:
    a. Lady
    b. Junior Competitors under the age of 18 on the first day
    of the match.
    c. Senior Competitors over the age of 55 on the first day of
    the match
    d. Super Senior Competitors over the age of 65 on the first day of
the match. A competitor over the age of 65 on the
first day of the match may enter Senior Category
only if Super Senior is unavailable.
    e. Military Military personnel on current active duty orders.
    f. Law Full-time law enforcement officers with arrest
    powers.

    4. Individual Classes:
Division status must be achieved before Classes are recognized.

Level III and Nationals A minimum of 10 competitors per Class (mandatory)

OK looked over the Website and think I know the answer to this question but I'll ask it anyway. Looks like I could compete with my 1911 in the single stack. But I looks like there is no rimfire class, or did I miss something? Unemployed so I'm trying to shoot on a budget this year.

    Warsaw IN.
I believe the Ramada Plaza is the match hotel if I remember right. Jake will say for sure.

Do A search for Warsaw ,In 46580. The hotels are all on the east side of town on US30 about 2 miles from the range. The range and hotels are right off US30.

I did a search for the 11th and some are already full.

I sent over 10 more entries to Marc today, we will be sitting at almost 200

you have until June 1st to get your entry in to entered in for the Smith & Wesson M&P AR15 donated by Ron&Mary Ann Cooper of Target Sports in Sheridan, IN

    Here is what is left
    All day Friday = 47
    Fri PM/Sat AM = 38
    All Day Saturday = 15
    All Day Sunday = 42

From that there are still 15 people not squadded yet

Why wait around, get your entry in now
There are basically about 127 slots available and it is May 19th, the match is 3 months away, if you think that it is not going to fill up and you can last minute your way in it is not going to happen

Stages are approved, Brent is making a couple minor changes and I will have them posted

Got word yesterday they are moving orientation week which will cause us to make two trips out to Kansas City but may allow me to do the all day Saturday shoot. Once they confirm their dates I will be submitting an entry form if it stays the way it is right now. :dunno:
