this week? picked up 1000 rounds of ss109 .223 for $600:rockwoot:
started prepping the back yard to be able to store things.

Ouch! I got some a few months back for $400 or soo, didn't realize that it had gone up soo much. Of course the stuff that I got was Lake City, loose pack, so it didn't have primer seal.

yeah thats the cheapest I can find in stock but the primers are sealed and it's all on stripper clips with loaders in 100 round bandoleers with a brand spankin new ammo can.

Can you tell us about Shelf Reliance? That sounds interesting.

I bought the harvest unit: Shelf Reliance :: The Harvest

It is expensive, but now that I spent the money, I really like it. The unit reinforces having cans on hand. I'm slowly filling it up and figuring out what we want. They also sell smaller units that can go on a shelf.

If i did it again, I would probably eliminate the #10 sized cans. However, I might fill those with some freeze dried #10 long term cans. Not sure.

Neat setup Indyjoe. Those shelves look very sturdy--cans get heavy pretty quick and can overload a wimpy shelf set.

500 rds of .223 Silver Bear. I know it is steel, but it shoots accurately enough and isn't any dirtier than Remington UMC. I shot close to 2" groups at 100 yards with my R15 with it.

I also picked up a couple hundred rounds of .17hmr and 100 rds of 9mm.

One more thing....a new Double Star stripped lower from Law Enforcement Firearms for 100 bucks!

a cz 52 and 1200 rounds of ammo for it followed me home today

My garage fridge died so I don't know what I will do to it yet.

My dad, who is a welder, would get old fridges, clean them out, and use them as dry/cool storage for welding rods. Perhaps there could be other applications along those lines?

Just sarted studying for my General Amateur Radio License. Taking an Appleseed in on April 18th, setting up my "Liberty Rifle", and going to plant a "victory garden", and meeting a lot of great resources on INGO!
