#4 of 4 in the legacy series I am building for my children. This one is for my only daughter. All the external controls stainless hand fit. EGW ignition controls.

Started life as a Springer RO. Removed the roll marks.

    Everything is blended.

A nice ball cut down the curve.

Flat topped and some show off machine work. All done by AllenM. He also did the color work.

    ICE Mag well.

She's a beaut alright! You have a lucky daughter, that is for sure. I gave mine a lump of coal, and she was GLAD to get it! :):

Nice collection. We have a dealer here in the So Bend area that refuses to sell Kimbers though. He claims the tolerances are too tight to feed many types of ammo (45). Claims Kimber blames it on poorly made reloads.

Bought this Benny Hill built STI 2011 from @Grelber here at INGO, and then made a few modifications including a new grip, grip safety, thumb safety, mag well, front sight, trigger, etc.

Had Allen M do the internal work, replacing the trigger and setting the pull at 2.5#. He also installed both safeties, a new ejector, tuned the extractor, etc.

He can work some serious magic into anything he touches!!! :D

She shoots like a dream and I am thrilled with the results! Thanks Allen!!!

My father recently gave me my grandfather’s service weapon. He was in the National Guard and this was his side arm. It’s a 1924 Colt 1911.
