I'm new to the site and just stumbled across this thread.
I've had this Hardballer since 1987. I bought it used off of a buddy that was getting out and needed cash to move for $150. He had a lot of after market gun smithing done to it. I know that these pistols have a checkered history but this has been 100% reliable for me and the sights are absolutely dead on. Contrary to the AMT "Hardballer" nickname this one has reliably eaten absolutely everything I have fed it. I've shot several, several, thousands of rounds through this in the past 30 years and have loved every minute of it.

Nothing wrong with it if it's reliable and it works for ya... :yesway:

Couple of Caspian CCO's built by me.

Left is a 9mm for the bride and right is mine in .45. I was so jealous of the finished product I had to duplicate one for myself.

Well, guess I can continue posting. Have some more Gun Porn for everyone. Next up is a Caspian Bullseye pistol I built. Setup for Action Shooting with a Ghost Ring rear sight for quick acquisition.

Last for today is an Oldie but Rare Goody. Springfield V-16 Longslide. Nice 6" slide and barrel with 16 fire breathing ports for those 45 Super Rounds. I have had this for many years. Has a Smith and Alexander Arched Magwell, and Cylinder and Slide ignition kit upgrade. Will get a hand cut front strap and hand fit S&A grip safety soon.

Stainless is easy to touch up holster and range wear with nothing more than a fresh bead blast.

Little tougher to build with as you need to watch out for galling so the tolerances cannot be as tight.

But they SURE ARE PURTY !

Something different. Lightweight Kimber frame I got cheap due to cracks on the dust cover. Build up the frame with good parts and topped with a Tactical Solutions .22 conversion and a Bushnell red-dot. Loads of accurate inexpensive fun !

#4 of 4 in the legacy series I am building for my children. This one is for my only daughter. All the external controls stainless hand fit. EGW ignition controls.

Started life as a Springer RO. Removed the roll marks.

WOW. That looks spectacular, and love how the bitone color choices turned out. That's stunning, and I'm sure it runs as good as it looks. Really nice!
