    Plans? New bike build? :D

Actually a heavy barrel AR. I have most of the parts and the rest are now in the mail. I really did not want to sell the Springer but I broke dead even and got my AR parts and more. I have 4 other Springers and more so the shakes have not returned yet.....yet....yet

Got the 4"bbl on the compact frame yesterday... and the blued Ultra today.
That 4" one is a limited run, so it's not in Kimber's catalog or their website.
Not keeping the Crimson Trace grips. Bleh.

Nice Kimbers....have a few models in mind for my next purchase. I guess you don't like the looks of your CT grip? I just put one on my Champ and love it....put 200 rounds through her yesterday. My CT grip was dead-nuts accurate from the factory, and doesn't look too shabby either :rockwoot:

I prefer the fit of slim grips and never really had much use for a laser. Some people love them. To each their own.

I know they retail for a few hundred, but when I take them off I'll probably drop that by a hundred even though they're new, just because I really don't want to keep them.

I just picked this up today. It's a Colt Gold Cup National Match. This photo was taken as soon as I opened up the box and pulled the pistol out of the plastic. I can't wait to put some rounds through it this weekend.

Here's my first 1911. It's a Dan Wesson Valor with VZ Operator II grips. Pretty proud of this beauty. Being a CZ freak I guess it was natural for me to start at Dan Wesson..

That finish looks really nice. Is it just the way the photo turned out? Or can you describe how it is finished? I have a SS Springer that I want to do something with this winter.

Probably just the lighting and the way the photo turned out. It's stainless. I'm not sure how it looks to everyone else (I'm colorblind:wallbash:)
