I'll polish mine, I always do. I've not had a black ramp that didn't hang-up with hollow points.

Looks just like my GSG 1911-22, and they look like the factory grips to me.

How does one adjust the tension of the extractor on an external extractor? Replace the spring?

Yep. The bottom far right and the bottom far left are the only ones with stock grips.
They are all .45 except that bottom right one. It's a .22 that I like to introduce new shooters with.

Staged picture that my father took shortly after he purchased his 1911 (late last year).

It is a Colt 1911 Black Army from 1919. For its age, it is gorgeous and the action is still very smooth.

He got it from a collector that had it as a consignment at a North Carolina gun shop. My parents were driving past on their vacation and just decided to drop in...find of the year for sure.
