    I've always been a fan of the basic GI 1911 and this one will look perfect with the plastic grips on it. Nice gun!

    I finally added a 1911 to my collection. It's a Springfield Armory GI. I've got a set of brown plastic grips coming, I will probably change the thumb safety at some point.

    I finally got around to taking a shot of the 1911 family today.



    Somewhere in there is an RIA Compact, Delta Elite, Remington R1S, Colt M1911A1, Remington Rand, Ed Brown Exec Carry, CZ 1911A1, Sig Railed Nickel, Kimber Compact and a Dan Wesson CCO. All are good shooters, but the WWII ones don't get shot much.
