I finally got out with mine the other day. I had one failure to chamber in the first mag, after that it ran fine. Yes, I cleaned and lubed it before going out.

Since it was my first optic ready pistol, I put one on it. Now that is going to take some getting used to...

Premier Arms in Brownsburg has been posting them as available from time to time.
That's always a possibility, but I gave up on Premier Arms as the one or two I know of they got in, I was always a day late.
Plus they wouldn't even attempt to order me one or make the slightest effort to find one at any price.

    I finally resorted to Gunbroker.
Paid a little more, New $629.99 for a 4.6", and got it promptly with no hassle.
I just made sure I bought it from a place with an FFL and not an individual person.

I had never used Gunbroker before, but once I had a default FFL set up with my account, it was simple.
I even got in another pistol yesterday (Sig P229 DAK) without hassle too.

Right now I see Gunbroker has 16 New "Buy Now" of them for sale starting at $649.00.

I'm still patiently waiting for one of my LGS to get one in.
You could be waiting for awhile if my experience is any indication.
I made it a part time to job to find one for about 3 months and finally resorted to Gunbroker.

Ran well over 100 rounds through it today. Not a single hiccup of any kind. Sig 1250 fps factory ammo.

I might throw in a larger backstrap on just for experimentation.

I’d like to have more report but it’s so flawless it’s almost boring.

If you are on the fence about getting one —- get one!

The sight came in yesterday afternoon and was installed last night. I gotta say, the plastic adapter plates are not confidence inspiring.

You have to be patient and check online couple times a day. When you see one come up for sale; pull the trigger QUICKLY! This method worked for my G40.
If I just had to have it 'right freakin now' I could have paid $980.00 for one on Gun Broker. To hell with that. My patience paid off.

I put another 25 rounds through the pistol this evening to sight in the red dot. I'm coming to really like this gun. I also tested a handful of a 165g load that I'm working on with success.

The M&P 10mm seems like what I was looking for. There still may be a P220 finding its way into my collection someday though
