Would like to pick up an auto knife for every day carry now that they are legal, but pretty overwhelmed by options. I don't want to spend a ton of money (under $125 would be great). Any decent OTF knives for that? Also, not sure if I'd rather have double action or single action, so any advice...
same here. been looking for a while for an sp101 for myself, and something similar for the wife. not much out there, and what I've found the prices are pretty steep.
Let me check with the wife. I have been wanting to get an sp101 with a 2.75" barrel for a while now, but recently spent the money I had set aside for other stuff.
yeah, plus the added bonus of if they ban all this stuff again, they should be good to go. kinda cool also, I happened to get three with sequentially numbered serial numbers. now the only problem I have is I'm only buying one parts kit/stock to get them running, and trying to decide who's to...
nice. i just bought 3 lowers (one for each of my boys), primarly because i wanted to build another lower with a collapsible stock for them to shoot with. i bought them a youth .410, and they liked it, but the kick was a bit much. although i did finally find some .410 handgun ammo this...
i bought 3 aluminum lower from aimsurplus last week. i think they were $64 each, and shipping was like $18 for all 3 to my FFL. they sold out before they hit the website though. if you sign up for their mailing list, you'll get e-mails when they get new stuff in, before it hits their regular...
If you want to check other vendors, JSE has a lot of good choices as well. Here's a cheap kit, just need to add sites. Out of stock currently, and no clue how quickly stuff gets back in. But I bought my upper from them a few years ago, and no issues at all.
JSE 16" M4 1x9 5.56 Chrome Moly GB...
I'm sure you could. I see a barreled upper on sale for $269, BCG for $130, and a charging handle for $15. That looks to be about the cheapest they've got (unless some of the out of stock stuff goes cheaper). If you need the lower stuff, they have parts kits with collapsible stocks for $80...
kind of hard to compare on prices, as there's a lot of variability on parts prices. you could have two very similiar looking uppers, and the price could be quite a bit different due to parts used (chrome lined barrel vs not, higher end hand guards, etc).
PSA's prices though seem to be right...
www.jsesurplus.com has good deals as well. i got a blemished complete upper (can't even see any problems), for like $450 a couple years ago. now may not be the best time to be looking, but deals are out there if you're patient.
