Vote of no confidence in Supreme Court?

You are correct. Impeachment is a check that I overlooked. But this is still extremely rare. And there is a very limited list of things that would cause impeachment. Thankfully, allowing personal political views to influence your decision over and against the constitution is on the list of...

How will the Cubs screw it up this year?

I don't really follow baseball, but I have a little sympathy for the Cubs. They haven't done anything to speak of in the past century. Maybe we can cut them a little slack? On second thought, no, lets just remind them that luck is never on their side.

      Vermin Supreme 2016

Maybe it's time to start thinking about write in candidates. A pony for every American and mandatory tooth brushing are starting to look like examples of great policy right now.

Hidden video: sexual harassment okay inside Clinton campaign?

I would like to say that this is unbelievable, but somehow it just isn't anymore.

Judge dismisses Newtown families' lawsuit against gun maker

This gives me just a little more faith that humanity hasn't lost all sense.

Vote of no confidence in Supreme Court?

The basis for the lifetime tenure of judges comes from Article 3 Section 1 of the Constitution which states that judges "shall hold their offices during good behavior." The accepted meaning of that phraise has always meant a lifetime. And unfortunately the only people who can officially redefine...

hmmm, i don't know what to say

You have no idea how frustrated I get with this on every level.

7th highest rate of accidental child shootings

This is exactly what my dad did with me. He decided that I had learned the healthy respect thing well enough to give me my own keys to the guns by the time I was about 10-12.

Another mic drop... (not that good, just by default)

Personally I am in favor of taking advantage of whatever opportunities are available to defend a classroom, including with guns. But I think it has to start with teaching the kids a run-hide-fight mentality. As it is we teach them to hide if here is a gunman outside the room, but there is...

      Bad carry choice

About an hour and a half ago I watched someone walk into the community center that I volunteer at with a full sized M&P hanging out of his sweatshirt pocket with the holster in his hand.

Country Boy S.O.S. (Angola/Steuben county area)

There are ways to legitimately keep your guns within arms reach while at college. Here at Purdue you can store them in the ROTC building. You can also choose to live off campus or keep them at a friend's house off campus. Keeping them in the dorms is a problem though. That is likely to result in...

      Selling/Trading at the show?

Last time I went to the show I bought a shotgun and walked around with it for about 45 minutes. During that time I had 4 people, who were not vendors, ask me if I was selling it. So there is also a market in the people just walking around.

      Flashlights!!!

I've been carrying a Surefire E1D Defender for a little less than a year. It's a great flashlight that I use all the time. The build quality is excellent. And after a year there is one small blemish on the bezel. Unless it gets lost or stolen this should be the last light I ever need to buy...

Walther PPS, Vedder holster & ammo review.

Thanks for the review. I've been looking for a more compact carry option than what I have for the summer months and this was very helpful.

      Something to think about

Unfortunately we aren't talking about not having a government. We're talking about having one that is above the law and people who are willing to let that happen.

Indiana SB277 - Bill to implement Ranked choice voting.

There are a few varieties of ranked voting. And in my opinion all of them make more sense than the electoral college system that we currently have. The ones that I am most familiar with are instant-runoff voting (IRV) and borda count. To illustrate both of these systems lets say that we have 4...

      Allergies - Who's Got 'Em

The last two weeks have been pretty bad for me as well. Usually my allergy meds do great things for me but I had to check them to make sure that they hadn't expired earlier this week. Winter can't come soon enough.

Hillary and her Secret Service detail

I have read about a lot of similar stories. The thought of having someone like that as the President of the U.S. is honestly terrifying. But on the other hand, (assuming she gets elected) if she does enough to tick off her security detail that would be the best route to a coupe that America has...

      Alien Gear Holsters

I have been carrying my Beretta PX4 Compact in the cloak 3 for about a year now. It has been a fantastic, comfortable holster. My only gripe with it is that some of the screws will occasionally loosen up. A drop of Locktite would fix that without much effort.
