All of those guns are beautiful. I would love to add a 1911 to my collection someday. They are a very classic gun. My favorite in my collection would have to by my Smith and Wesson shield. I got it a few years ago to carry, and it has treated me very well. It is a blast to shoot, plus I have...
That is a beautiful Gun. I have bought several guns there and have always been pleased with the quality and the price of the gun. Unfortunately I have not been able to go to one recently, but hope to go again soon. Congrats again on a great find!
I didn't get my first hand gun until I was 21. It was a glock model 22 in a .40 caliber. I still have it and it is one of my favorite guns. I hope to someday be able to pass it down.
I don't mind buying used at all. I would stay away from the big box stores like Gander because they have pretty high prices. If you go to a few online sites or do your homework on what places like Tims or point blank are selling their used guns for you could get a pretty good deal.
I think Tims in westfield does. My roommate just bought an XDS from there and loves it. I would call them and see, they would be willing to work with you on price a little as well.
I have shot several Colts and loved shooting them but have never owned one unfortunately. In the future I would really like to own one, they seem like really good guns.
1. Carson
2. Trump
3. Cruz
4. Rubio
5. Fiorina
I think Trump can make the most change simply because he has not Big Business backing therefore no allegiances he needs to fulfill and is somewhat of a bully and not afraid to fight hard for thins.
There are obviously pros to each platform, and depending on what you want to do with the gun, one may be better than the other. The AR is going to be semi-auto, take more rounds, but possibly less accurate. If you are down on the ground, you have to use a smaller magazine, or a higher tripod...
Beach Grove Firearms is a good FFL I have used. They communicate well and are decently cheap at $15 or $20 I think. I look for communication and amount of traffic they do as an FFL. If they are not used very often there has to be a reason...
That's pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing. The mushroom cloud forming after was cool, seems like the gas would just expand out instead of forming a nice cloud like that.
I make sure my guns are clean when I am going to sell them, mainly because I would want to buy a clean gun. And if people hear you sell guns that are not clean, they are more likely to want to pay less for them because they know they will have to clean them themselves. I just clean them the...
Interesting, and all good info to know. Thanks. And for the farm stuff I was thinking about a friend who's father has a ranch out west that is fun to go shoot at. So what is your opinion if I wanted to just do deer hunting or smaller game such as coyotes?
I'm looking to 1) Hunt, including deer and then possibly in the future farm pest animals (prairie dogs, coyotes etc.) and 2) target shoot. I have a 22lr but am looking for something slightly larger.
I'm looking into getting a new rifle and am not sure what to consider.
What do you think the pro's and con's of Bolt action, AK/AR, Lever Action are?
What caliber/set up is the most versatile in Indiana for hunting, shooting in general?
Thanks
