      Insurance appraisal

I used to carry a rider from state farm to cover my collection. rates were reasonable. when I bought my thompson, I wanted to add to the rider, but, after checking into it, my agent informed me that state farm will not insure NFA items. I now use collectibles insurance. I just did a quick...

HIDDEN TREASURE but IS IT KOSHER???

If they were never registered, they are virtually worthless. they can NEVER be put into the registry as transferable. I don't remeber the exact details , but a few years ago a German machine gun documented to have been captured by Alvin York was found stashed away in a small town libraries...

      .45 Options ?

reising or thompson. personally I prefer the tommy, but the reising is a lot cheaper. with the market right now you should be able to get a reising under 5k. they are fun to shoot, but are prone to some breakage. spare parts are obtainable, but will take some searching. A tommy will run you...

      Dick's Sporting Goods

I worked at the Greenwood Galyans from 2001 through the buy out by Dicks, into 2006. there is no comparison between the 2 companies. Galyans stressed training and knowledge of your department. Dicks stresses sell through. at galyans if you wanted a paricular firearm and we didn't have it, we...

      Takedown .22

I own both (as well as an M6) My ar-7 is an older one by charter arms, purchased in 83, so take that into consideration. the AR-7 is more of a beat it up, camping canoeing gun. Mine has floated down more than one river. I did have one problem with mine, after probably 5-6k rounds it started...

should we stir the SBS pot

Just want opinions as to whether we should attempt to get the Indiana SBS restriction changed ? Do you think the current make up of the state legislature would be a good time to try. My local state rep is a gun guy, and I feel he would be receptive to introducing the change. with the budget...
