      Conundrum on a Rem 670

I've been looking at the Remington 700's that are available locally. I don't like the way the new ones feel and look. I'm the type that need it to look as good as it works and am not getting the right vibe on them. A local gunsmith suggested that I look for an older 700 or consider a Savage...

You get only one bolt gun- which caliber do you pick?

I like the .308 but am experimenting with the 30-06. My opinion may change in the future.

      Purchasing multiple tacticals - Problems?

They will definitely be legally used. I just hate drawing undue attention.

      .22 Tactical

I always vote for the 15-22 and own one but I like the 10-22 also. I'm hoping to pick up a used one this winter and start transforming it over.

      Purchasing multiple tacticals - Problems?

Thanks. I keep telling him if he had fewer kids he wouldn't have to worry about this stuff. He has 2 sets of twins and his wife has 3 kids!:ugh:

      Purchasing multiple tacticals - Problems?

My brother is looking to purchase either M&P 15-22's or the Mossberg Tactical .22 for his kids as Christmas gifts. He is also planning on being a good uncle and getting my daughter one also. My question is... Will he have any problems purchasing 6 guns at the same time? I know there may be a...

Reputable range/shop/lessons in or near Evansville?

I've become a huge fan of Right to Bare Arms also. It is on the left before you get to Ft. Branch. The selection isn't overwhelming and they will spend the time talking to you to figure out what fits you best.

      Conundrum on a Rem 670

I'm thinking there isn't any harm in practicing with it for the time being. It lacks a bipod but I'll just use a sandbag. It's received some trigger work already, so it's not a bad gun. Back to saving up funds for a new build.

      Youth .22

I'm a fan of going the 10-22 route. They have something they can shoot now, will grow with them, and once they get full size there is a multitude of available parts to customize to their liking.

$600 at LGS and included 2 extra clips. I figured not a great price but not a horrible one either.

      Conundrum on a Rem 670

My intention this past weekend was to pick up a Remington 700 in .308. I want to build a long range, bolt action rifle. My goal is 1000 yards. The day started out well with a bite on one of my items I had listed on Craigslist. Long story short I ended up taking in a very nice Remington 670...

      Another sad day...

I thought I was the only one that this happened to!:): I sold my mud truck this spring to make a couple of long anticipated firearm purchases. Then we got extremely lucky. My mother-in-law gave us her pool for FREE. A privacy fence and deck later, no money left for the firearm purchase but I...

is there any one that hunts wild pigs in indiana

I live in Warrick County and they are not nearly as plentiful now as they were 10 years ago. I very rarely see them now and I drive the back roads quite a bit.
