16 mo old found locked in a dog cage, 3 year old locked outside in the cold.

Just another example that being a parent takes more than making them. It's sad how sick people can be to innocent children. I hope the kids get a set of new parents that really care!

      Semi-Auto 308

I agree, but thats the problem! It's not legal here. So the only way your shooting a deer in Indiana from those ranges are with a camera lol

      Semi-Auto 308

That was a average shot in Michigan he could shoot. In michigan, some area's you have a lot longer range shots compared to most in Indiana The 200 yard shot was just one time I saw when I was young. I was just pointing out the 308 savage is an impressive rifle. Hope this clears the air, since...

      Semi-Auto 308

Yes, it was on purpose, because he could only see the head of the deer crossing tall grass on the south end of a swamp. Other wise he would have shot into the neck or heart area.

      INGO Kids events?

Not sure if your into scouting, but the Boy scout camps have programs that teach kids gun safety. an they get to shoot .22 cal LR and some used to even use shotguns for the older boys. Also the 4-H have shooting programs last I knew.

What do you think about Savage Rifles?

My dad has a 308 Savage and with a scope he could hit a deer 100-150 yards out no problem. At the range, it seemed to have a awsome long range accuracy compared to other rifles for the price.

      Semi-Auto 308

Not sure of the price, but my dad uses a Savage 308. He shot a deer in the eye from 200 yards out one time.

What is the best lever action deer gun?

Remmington actually took over 4 years ago, but it wasnt really public until 09. Then Remmington stopped production on some of the Marlin rifles for about 12 months to bring them in house to be produced. Not sure why though. I guess they didnt like making money, or maybe wanted to raise the...

What is the best lever action deer gun?

Being originally from Michigan, I have killed plenty of deer with My 30-30 winchester and Marlin. So they would have to be my favorites. But in Indiana I have used a 45-70 Rossi and my brothers 44 Mag Marlin. Both of which I enjoy shooting as well. So looks like I will be looking to get a 44 Mag...

      ARMSLIST

in my opinion if your a collector, you can find some deals on Armslist, but newer model guns, seem to be the same as if you go to a local dealer or sporting goods retailer. It kills me to see people trying to sell a gun for $25-$50 more than you can by a a local shop. An then have to pay to have...
