Had a Millennium Pro 45. Sold it after I got it back from Taurus repair. Great service from Taurus but would rather not have to send it in the first place. Put the $ into a M&P 45.
The wife picked one up at the 1500. With ammo prices high and availability limited the .22 will allow us to spend more time shooting and less time making fruitless trips to Walmart. I look forward to putting a lot of rounds through it! (If I get permission that is!)
A few days ago a member posted that his wife bought him a Glock 17. I read it aloud to my wife and commented what a great wife this guy has. This morning I opened my Christmas present, a Glock 17 plus she thought to get ammo!
Thank you INGO for helping Christmas dreams come true!
Picked one up at Bradis yesterday and shot it today at Eagle Creek. I was very surprised by the kick! They would only sell one box of 20 hollow points at $20 per box. So I didn't put many rounds through. I too need to install the grip extension and ordered the jr grip from CTD this afternoon.
I put hogue grips on my G26 and took it to the range today. It really helped out especially with the extended magazines. They had a tendacy to pinch your finger when shooting. The hogue grip fills that gap enough to make it much more comfortable.
Found Indyvet's recommendation on the NICS website. It is called a Voluntary Appeal File application. The pdf is the application. Looks like all you need aside from completing the form is finger printing. Might take a little time but probably worth it...
Thanks Indyvet. I'll look into the unique id number. On the bright side Wally in Carmel had Federal 9mm in stock last night and this morning; 6 box limit. Luck ran out though, drove to Eagle Creek and it was closed today. Website said next week reduced hours but did not see anything for today.
