Deer are really starting to move in this area so I need to get the war horse back in top form. Some shots could be as close as 40 yds, so I think iron sights would be handy, if I can find one. Oh, its a standard model as best I can tell. Nothing fancy on it and a 24" barrel.

There is definitely a difference from when I moved here from KY 6 months ago. Down there, no one batted an eye at oc. Not even in Lexington, maybe Loisville, but thats not really a kentucky town. People here are certainly more sensitive.
I doubt I'll ever own enough of a collection to bring in a well equipped theif, so as of right now I just have a door. Not mounted, no hardware, but its a start.
Thanks everyone. Bloomington is definitely a hippy, left wing place, but its still rural enough there are a lot of hunters and gun owners here. Interesting place to be.
I know there are Muzzleloaders at Bloomington, lots of shotgun ammo. Its hit or miss on pistol rounds. I don't think they have any modern firearms, but I can't recall off hand.
