      Dissolve the Veterans' Health Administration. Fire all of those bureaucrats and close down the VA hospitals. Issue Platinum health cards to our vets that entitle them to the best health care available at their choice of providers in the private sector. We promised them!

      That's very kind, but the fact is that there are many. What is so cool is that pro sharpeners are so generous in sharing their knowledge and helping each other out. Just a great bunch of men and women. Always learning. I have found that knife enthusiasts who aren't necessarily expert sharpeners...

      As for the author's view on serrations: My personal preference is no serrations except for steak knives and rescue knives, but I disagree that they are impossible to sharpen. I have no problem sharpening serrated knives.

      Good point. I love my large sharps. However, I find that my 3" - 4" sharps get more use.
